Samsung Tizen Smart TVs support several IPTV apps directly — no external box required. Smart IPTV and OTT Player are the most popular choices for TrexTV on Samsung.
On your Samsung TV, open the Samsung App Store and search for one of: "Smart IPTV", "OTT Player", "Net IPTV", or "IPTV Smarters". Install your preferred app.
For Smart IPTV-style apps that ask for the MAC, go to Settings → Support → About this TV → look for a MAC starting with CC:B1:1A or similar.
Smart IPTV asks you to activate via siptv.app/mylist using the MAC address and your TrexTV M3U URL. Other apps ask for the M3U URL directly inside the TV interface.
Paste the M3U URL or Xtream Codes credentials we email you. The channel list should populate within 30 seconds.
Open a live channel and confirm playback. Check 4K channels if you have a 4K Samsung TV. Open the EPG to confirm guide data is showing.
If you already own a recent Samsung Smart TV, you don't need a Firestick or Apple TV to use TrexTV. The TV itself runs the IPTV app and connects directly to your home Wi-Fi or wired Ethernet — fewer cables, less clutter, and one remote.
Smart IPTV is the longest-running and most reliable choice. OTT Player and Net IPTV are good free alternatives. Some newer 2022+ Samsung TVs also run IPTV Smarters directly. All four work with TrexTV.
If you see occasional stutter on Samsung, switch to wired Ethernet if you can — Samsung's Wi-Fi chip on lower-end models is the bottleneck more often than the IPTV stream itself. Our buffering fix guide covers the full troubleshooting order.
Samsung 4K and QLED TVs handle 4K IPTV streams beautifully, provided you have a stable 25+ Mbps connection. See 4K IPTV streaming for details.
Pick a duration — same channels, lower per-month cost on longer plans.

Yes. Smart IPTV remains available for Samsung Tizen TVs — including most 2017–2025 models. New TVs can install it from the Samsung App Store and activate via the official Smart IPTV portal.
No. A Samsung Smart TV from 2017 onwards runs the IPTV app natively. You only need a Firestick or Apple TV if your TV is older or you want a different OS.
Try OTT Player, Net IPTV, or IPTV Smarters from the same store. All three accept M3U or Xtream Codes login and work with TrexTV.
No. If you already own a Firestick, Smart TV, Android box, Apple TV, Roku, or a computer, you can install a supported IPTV player and start watching.
IPTV Smarters Pro and TiviMate are the most popular options. They work on most platforms, look great, and support both M3U and Xtream Codes login.
